Crows Nest Day Surgery hosts doctors' seminar

Crows Nest Day Surgery hosted its first education evening for General Dentists last night.

Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon Dr Paul Hammans presented on the topic "Cone Beam Scan Supported Indication for Dental Implant Placement and Augmentation Procedures, and Specialist in Endodontics Dr Omar Ikram gave the talk "'Doctor, how long has my tooth got?' - Prognosis and Longevity of Root Canal Treated Teeth.

It was a very succesful and rewarding evening with a great turnout, and we hope to host more events like this in the future.

ACHS Accreditation

Crows Nest Day Surgery was recently Accredited with the Australian Council on Healthcare Standards (ACHS).

Earlier this month, CNDS participated in its first organisation-wide survey, and was awarded full Accreditation status until February 2014. The Surveyors were very impressed with the insight and vision that has been adopted at CNDS and congratulated the owners and staff on providing a quality and niche facility.

In July 2009 CNDS was first surveyed for Certification status with ACHS. The surveyors noted that they met with highly experienced, motivated and committed team members and it was shown that there were safe and effective systems established to support a high level of clinical care.

Since its opening in June 2009, Crows Nest Day Surgery has enjoyed very positive Patient Satisfaction with a Satisfaction Survey return rate of >85%. We look forward to expanding our services over the coming years.
